Project Overview
Sheraton Golf & Beach Resort Fiji is a beachfront resort located on Denarau Island, Fiji, with 279 guestrooms and suites. Surrounded by a tropical landscape, the resort combines relaxed island character with a range of guest, public, and dining spaces. Craftell Home developed customized furniture solutions for different areas, coordinating materials, dimensions, construction, and finishes to meet the comfort, durability, and practical requirements of a tropical resort environment.
Project Scope & Product Supply
Craftell Home provided customized furniture solutions across guestrooms and suites, lobby and public areas, and restaurant spaces. Furniture specifications were coordinated and tailored to the functional requirements and overall design of each area, creating a cohesive furniture environment throughout the resort.
Note: Located in a tropical beachfront environment, the furniture was specified to accommodate frequent hotel use, routine cleaning, and the effects of a warm and humid climate. Particular attention was given to wear resistance, stain resistance, easy maintenance, and long-term durability while maintaining the resort’s relaxed design character and guest comfort.
Design Requirements & Customized Solutions
For this tropical beachfront resort, furniture was customized in terms of materials, construction, dimensions, and surface treatments to balance the resort character, guest comfort, and long-term commercial use.
Material & Finish Coordination — Timber, metal, upholstery, and other materials were coordinated according to the design requirements of guestrooms, public areas, and restaurants.
Customized Dimensions & Spatial Fit — Furniture dimensions and proportions were adjusted to suit different layouts, circulation requirements, and functional needs.
Tropical Environment Adaptation — Materials, construction details, and surface treatments were considered for the warm, humid, and coastal environment of Fiji.
Customized Upholstery & Fabrics — Upholstery materials, filling specifications, and craftsmanship were selected according to each area, with consideration for comfort, wear resistance, and maintenance.
Structural & Manufacturing Optimization — Construction methods, connection details, and manufacturing processes were refined to support frequent hotel use and long-term durability.
