Kai’s Songbird, located at Corinthia Yacht Club in The Pearl-Qatar, Doha, is a luxury dining destination inspired by Nanyang Chinese cuisine and garden aesthetics. The restaurant combines bird, botanical, and crystal elements throughout the interior, with bespoke decorative lighting serving as a key visual feature to create an immersive dining atmosphere.

This project delivered a customized decorative lighting solution for a luxury restaurant environment. The lighting design was developed according to the restaurant’s concept, spatial proportions, and interior style. Crystal feature lighting, artistic chandeliers, and dining area fixtures enhance both functionality and visual impact, making lighting an integral part of the restaurant’s interior identity.

Design Requirements & Customized Solutions
As a luxury fine-dining restaurant located within Corinthia Yacht Club at The Pearl-Qatar, Doha, Kai’s Songbird required a customized lighting solution that could integrate the restaurant’s design concept, spatial atmosphere, and brand identity. Craftell Home developed a bespoke decorative lighting solution covering crystal feature lighting, artistic chandeliers, and restaurant ambient lighting. Through coordinated materials, forms, and lighting effects, the project creates a distinctive and immersive dining environment.
Artistic Lighting Design — Inspired by the restaurant’s garden concept, the lighting design combines functional illumination with artistic expression, creating distinctive feature lighting that enhances the overall interior experience.
Crystal Feature Lighting Solution — Customized crystal elements and structural designs were developed to create a layered and elegant lighting installation, becoming a visual centerpiece within the restaurant space.
Customized Dimensions & Spatial Integration — The size, proportions, and suspension heights of the lighting fixtures were carefully adjusted according to the restaurant’s ceiling height, dining layout, and circulation requirements, ensuring harmony with the architectural space.
Material & Finish Coordination — The materials, finishes, and decorative details of the lighting fixtures were coordinated with the restaurant’s interior style, creating a unified design language with the surrounding furniture and decorative elements.
Restaurant Ambience Lighting Solution — A combination of chandeliers, decorative lighting, and ambient fixtures was developed to create a refined, comfortable, and inviting dining atmosphere suitable for a luxury restaurant environment.
Project Specification & Quality Control — All lighting products were manufactured according to approved designs, material specifications, and sample standards. Quality inspections covered dimensions, structure, safety requirements, surface finishes, lighting performance, and final packaging.
