Project Overview
The RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group Corporate Office is located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, covering approximately 195,900 sq ft and completed in 2020. Designed by Abin Design Studio, the corporate headquarters integrates workspaces, meeting areas, reception functions, and informal collaboration zones, combining a contemporary workplace environment with art and cultural elements. Craftell Home provided customized workstations, desks, meeting furniture, office and meeting seating, lounge furniture, and storage furniture, with dimensions, materials, construction, and finishes coordinated according to the requirements of each area to achieve a cohesive office environment.
Project Scope & Product Supply
The supply scope covered customized office furniture for different work, meeting, and collaboration areas, including workstations and desks, meeting tables, office chairs, meeting chairs, lounge sofas, lounge chairs, coffee tables, and storage furniture. Furniture was customized according to the spatial dimensions, functional layouts, and usage requirements of each area, with coordinated materials, finishes, dimensions, and detailing to maintain consistency throughout the workplace.
Note: The project focused on office furniture for a high-end corporate headquarters, accommodating daily work, formal meetings, and informal collaboration. Through coordinated customization across multiple furniture categories, the solution balanced functionality and comfort while maintaining a consistent workplace design and corporate identity.
Design Requirements & Customized Solutions
The project required customized office furniture for different workplace, meeting, and lounge areas. Furniture dimensions, configurations, materials, construction, and finishes were coordinated according to the function, spatial conditions, and usage requirements of each area, balancing workplace efficiency and comfort while maintaining a consistent overall design.
Workplace Configuration — Workstations and desks were customized according to open-plan layouts and working requirements, balancing productivity, circulation, and efficient use of space.
Meeting Space Customization — Meeting tables and chairs were coordinated according to the dimensions and functions of meeting and conference rooms, supporting different scales of business meetings and discussions.
Lounge & Collaboration Areas — Lounge sofas, lounge chairs, and coffee tables were configured for informal meeting and collaboration areas, with appropriate dimensions and combinations to create comfortable social spaces.
Material & Finish Coordination — Materials, colors, finishes, and detailing were coordinated across different furniture categories to complement the overall interior design and create visual continuity throughout the workplace.
Functionality & Ergonomics — Furniture dimensions, desk heights, seating comfort, and spatial clearances were considered to support extended working and meeting sessions and improve everyday usability.
Project Specifications & Quality Control — Products were manufactured according to approved drawings, material requirements, and sample specifications. Quality inspections covered dimensions, construction, materials, finishes, hardware, upholstery, and packaging to ensure consistent production quality.
