Project Overview
Hilton Garden Inn Busselton is located in Busselton, Western Australia, along the shores of Geographe Bay and close to the iconic Busselton Jetty. As a coastal property within the Hilton Garden Inn brand, the hotel combines contemporary hospitality functions with a design approach that responds to the surrounding coastal environment.
The hotel includes guestrooms, dining areas, a lobby and public spaces. Furniture and custom joinery for the project were developed according to the spatial dimensions, functional requirements and interior design specifications of each area, with consideration given to durability, practical use and visual consistency within the coastal hospitality setting.

Craftell Home provided guestroom furniture, lobby and public area furniture, restaurant furniture and custom joinery, developed according to the functional requirements, design drawings and material specifications of each space.
Note: The project scope covered furniture and joinery for guestrooms, public areas and dining spaces. Products were customized in terms of dimensions, materials, finishes and construction details to complement the hotel’s interior design and meet the requirements of long-term commercial hospitality use. Project documentation also identifies guestroom and common-area furniture together with guestroom joinery within the project scope.
Design Requirements & Customized Solutions
The project required customized furniture and millwork development for guestrooms, suites, lobby and public areas, and dining spaces. Craftell Home refined the products from dimensions, construction, materials, finishes, and functional details to align with the hotel’s overall design while addressing the demands of long-term, high-frequency use in a beachfront hospitality environment.
Guestrooms & Suites | Customized Dimensions, Construction & Materials — Based on room dimensions, layouts, and design drawings, Craftell Home developed customized headboards, bedside tables, wardrobes, desks, luggage benches, lounge chairs, and other guestroom furniture. Durable materials, hardware, and finishes were selected to support frequent hotel use while maintaining the required functionality and visual consistency.
Lobby & Public Areas | Coordinated Furniture & Millwork — For the lobby, reception, and public lounge areas, sofas, lounge chairs, coffee tables, side tables, and fixed millwork were customized to follow the project’s design language. Materials, colors, proportions, and detailing were coordinated so that loose furniture and fixed elements formed a consistent interior scheme suitable for high-traffic hospitality spaces.
Dining Areas | Functional & Detail Development — Furniture for the dining areas was customized according to the space planning and operational requirements, including dining tables, dining chairs, sideboards, and related fixed furniture. Dimensions, ergonomics, material durability, and ease of maintenance were considered during engineering development to support practical restaurant use.
Beachfront Hospitality Environment | Durable Materials & Finishes — Considering the hotel’s beachfront environment, materials, construction methods, and surface finishes were carefully selected for the furniture and millwork. The development process included material confirmation, finish sampling, and production quality control to improve product stability and durability under humid, salt-air, and high-use conditions.
