El Encanto Hotel
Craftell Home provided customized outdoor furniture for El Encanto Hotel, including sun loungers, armchairs, sofas, coffee tables, side tables, and parasols. The furniture package was developed around the layout and functional requirements of the hotel’s outdoor leisure areas.
Project Overview
Located in Mexico, El Encanto Hotel features outdoor areas designed for relaxation, sunbathing, and outdoor social activities. A combination of seating, tables, loungers, and parasols was used to create a coordinated outdoor furniture setting for the property.
Project Scope & Product Supply
The outdoor furniture package was customized for different leisure areas of the hotel, including sun loungers, armchairs, sofas, coffee tables, side tables, and parasols. Upholstered pieces incorporated UV-resistant outdoor fabrics and quick-dry foam, while materials, construction, and finishes were selected to accommodate prolonged sun exposure, moisture, and frequent use, supporting comfort, weather resistance, and long-term outdoor performance.
Note: This project involved outdoor hospitality furniture designed for the sunlight, temperature, and humidity conditions in Mexico. In addition to everyday comfort, the furniture needed to withstand prolonged sun exposure, moisture, and frequent use, with emphasis on weather resistance, UV resistance, moisture resistance, quick-drying performance, wear resistance, and easy maintenance.
Design Requirements & Customized Solutions
For the hotel’s outdoor environment, UV-resistant outdoor fabrics and quick-dry foam were specified, with frame, cushioning, and upholstery construction adapted to the requirements of sun loungers, armchairs, and sofas. Tables and parasols were also customized with suitable materials and structural details, with dimensions, comfort, and weather performance refined throughout the furniture package.
Outdoor Environment Adaptation — Materials and manufacturing methods were selected according to Mexico’s sunlight, temperature, and humidity conditions.
UV Resistance — UV-resistant outdoor fabrics were specified for areas exposed to prolonged sunlight, helping reduce fading and material aging.
Quick-Dry System — Quick-dry foam and suitable internal construction were used to improve drainage and drying after rain or moisture exposure.
Weather & Corrosion Resistance — Outdoor-grade materials and appropriate protective finishes were applied according to the construction of each furniture piece.
Comfort & Durability — Seating proportions, cushioning, and upholstery construction were refined to balance comfort with the demands of frequent hotel use.
Coordinated Furniture Configuration — Furniture dimensions, proportions, materials, and colors were coordinated according to the scale of each outdoor area to create a cohesive overall setting.
